How and Why I Use Large Language Models (LLMs)

1. My Ideas, My Work

  • Purely Human-Created Artifacts
Any piece that has intrinsic artistic value—from short stories and poems to paintings or drawings—arises entirely from my own creativity. I never use LLMs to generate or co-create these types of works.
  • No AI-Generated Imagery
I do not use AI image-generation tools on principle. Visuals in my blog (photos, sketches, etc.) are entirely my own, or of human craftsmanship.

2. The Role of LLMs in My Writing

  • Structuring Tool, Not a Substitute for Original Thought
I often think much faster than I can write. LLMs help me organize, refine, and clarify my thinking, but they never replace it. If a core idea isn’t solid on its own, no tool can fix that.
  • Autistic Perspective
As someone on the autism spectrum, clear communication is crucial for me. LLMs act as a sort of “digital assistant,” making sure my blog posts are structured and accessible without losing depth.

3. Boundaries: What LLMs Do and Do Not Do

  • LLMs Help Me:
    • Organize complex ideas into a logical sequence
    • Identify inconsistencies or unclear points in my drafts
    • Polish wording for readability and precision
  • LLMs Never:
    • Generate full articles, stories, or creative pieces from scratch
    • Replace original thought, argumentation, or insight
    • Produce anything intended to hold artistic or intellectual value on its own

4. Informational vs. Creative Content

  • LLM-Assisted Informational Posts
    • When my goal is to communicate information—explain a concept, share an insight, or guide a reader through logic—I may use an LLM to refine the structure or wording.
    • These pieces remain 100% my ideas, simply polished for clarity.
    • I will include a brief note at the end of the post if an LLM was used in this way.
  • Fully Self-Created Content
    • If a piece—especially anything intrinsically artistic—has no LLM involvement, there is no disclaimer.
    • The writing, design, and expression come solely from me.

5. Why This Matters

  • Maintaining Authenticity
My core purpose is to share genuinely human-generated ideas. I aim to avoid any confusion about how these ideas are formed and presented.
  • Open Communication
If you ever wonder how a post was composed—where LLM assistance began or ended—just ask. I’m committed to discussing my process openly.

6. Ongoing Commitment

This policy will evolve as I keep refining how best to balance my rapid stream of thoughts with the clarity LLMs provide. However, the foundation stays the same:

  1. No AI generation for creative artifacts that stand on their own as artistic works.
  2. Structured, proof-based thinking is entirely my own.
  3. LLMs assist only with making my writing more coherent, never replacing human insight.

Thank you for reading—and for valuing a transparent approach to modern writing tools!
